Christine Maxwell Morris has been an artist since she could hold a paint brush in her hand. "Art has always been my passion." What began as a hobby grew into a small business for Christine.
Many of her works are commissioned house portraits, which consist of historic landmarks and businesses in the area, as well as private residences. She was the featured artist for the American Cancer Society in 2001, 2005, 2007, and 2010. Each year an artist is chosen to paint four different Philadelphia scenes (in winter) for their holiday cards. Her first year doing the cards broke a record as the cards completely sold out! All proceeds were donated to cancer research.
"My paintings are a reflection of my love of the outdoors" and consist of snow scenes, seascapes, and florals. Her work is on display at several local and Main Line galleries. Christine also participates in numerous juried art shows where she has won a number of awards.
